Rotary talk on dogs role

PRESIDENT of Rotary Club of Battle, Marian Rigby was delighted to welcome Sue Pellow, fundraiser for the charity Hearing Dogs for the Deaf, to speak to members.
Sue talked about the problems of the deaf and how the dogs were trained to help deaf people live a more normal life. Sue is a fellow Rotarian and member of Eastbourne AM Rotary Club. Accompanying Sue was Jean Lawrie and her hearing dog Dandy. Jean lost her hearing in childhood and has had Dandy for the past eight years.
