Hands On Italia
E-News October 2004
Specialty travel in Italy... by and for the DEAF

1)    Good news! HOI will have a booth at Deaf Expo West, to be held in Anaheim, California on November 5-6. For those of you who plan to attend, it is your chance to stop by and learn more about us and what we do. We will show our DVD movie, bring our scrapbook full of memories from past tours, hand out our full color brochures, and be able to answer any kind of question you have. We look forward to seeing you all at Deaf Expo! www.handsonitalia.com/1004news.htm.

2)     Not satisfied with our current offerings, which cover Rome, Florence, Venice, Tuscany, and the Amalfi Coast, we have decided to expand by offering summer walking tours in the Dolomites region of Northern Italy. Among the most beautiful mountain panoramas you will ever see, the Dolomites are truly a haven for active people who want to spend their summer somewhere else rather than lying on the beach. It is also advantageous for schoolteachers who cannot come to Italy any other time... www.handsonitalia.com/0904news.htm.

3)    I will be in the USA from 28 October to 28 November. For those of you who would like to set up on-line meetings with me through videophone (a technology that I hope I can import to Italy sometime soon!) so that you can ask me questions about a possible upcoming trip, find out more about what we can do for you, and so forth... contact me through email at hoi@handsonitalia.com and we can set up a time to chat.

4)    Our testimonials page never stop growing. Many participants who had a great time with Hands On Italia have agreed to say kind words on our behalf. Thank you, everybody! www.handsonitalia.com/testimonials.htm

5)    We have an open tour from May 9-20, 2005 that covers Rome, Florence, Tuscany, and Venice... there are three spots left to be filled. Interested in joining? Contact us! hoi@handsonitalia.com

6)    We really, really hope to see you in Italy one day, one way or another! Have a great autumn.
