World Leading Hearing Aid Manufacturer Selects Clear Technologies' C2 CRM over Sales Logix

From: Business Wire (press release) - Nov 20, 2003

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 20, 2003--

Widex Canada strengthens internal sales automation procedures as well as customer service processes

Clear Technologies today announced that Widex Canada, Ltd. has chosen C2 CRM to strengthen their internal sales procedures, as well as tighten customer service processes. Focusing on the disconnect between sales and service, Widex Canada will use C2 to automate their day-to-day sales activities, as well as track customer activity (for the first time) including customer support issues all in hopes of better servicing their customer base.

"The most prevalent reason we chose C2 CRM over Sales Logix was C2's modular design allowing us to select specific modules based on our needs," said Jake Haycock, President and CEO of Widex Canada, Ltd. "We also wanted a CRM solution that would easily integrate with our existing systems using open standards and that would allow our organization to determine the level and complexity needed to integrate to RMA processing, inventory management, and sales history."

"C2 has a proven track record with ERP integration working successfully with systems like MAPICS and JD Edwards," said Van Symons, President and COO for Clear Technologies. "We've recently installed C2 at two different Manufacturing companies and in both cases C2 successfully integrated with JD Edwards and MAPICS. The key to our success in both cases is C2's ability to transfer product information and share company records between existing ERP accounting and inventory records, and newly created sales records within C2."

"The direct representation from the software publisher coupled with the intuitive nature and flexible architecture of C2, made this decision easier than I had thought," said Haycock.

"C2 continues to out-perform competing applications by offering tremendous flexibility in terms of its open architecture," said Symons.
