Staff Report

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has resolved the dispute between two groups of the deaf cricket association claiming themselves as the only genuine body in the country.

The two groups earlier this week signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the PCB which formalized the relationship of the two groups with the Board, said the PCB scrutiny committee chairman Javed Zaman here Friday. "Now deaf cricket in Pakistan has come under the umbrella of the PCB. This step will help in regulating deaf cricket in the near future," he said.

The committee that worked for three months also comprised Ijaz Fakih and advocate Rana Farooq Shahzad.

The scrutiny committee submitted its report Thursday and the signed MoU to the PCB chairman Tauqir Zia who lauded the efforts of the committee in solving the dispute amicably.
