From: The Argus, CA - May 12, 2003

FREMONT -- The California School for the Deaf will offer a basketball camp this summer for deaf students in the fifth through 12th grades.

Veteran basketball coaches employed by the school will teach defensive fundamentals, free-throw techniques and teamwork skills in a unique, visually based environment. A day camp is available for local kids, and a residential camp is available for those coming from other parts of the country.

The camp runs June 22-27 and costs $100 for the whole week, including lodging, meals, a camp ball, a camp shirt and awards. Space is limited.

Information is available at the Web site, www.csdf.k12.ca.us/sports/bballcamp/bbcamp2003.htm, or by calling (510) 794-3707.
