Deaf victim's home burglarized

A deaf woman's custom-built computer was stolen from a Kankakee apartment during a burglary Friday. The computer was valued at $700.
The victim and three male visitors left the apartment in the 1700 block of East Duane Boulevard and went out for pizza. The woman later returned to find her computer was gone and a window was unlocked.
She believes the trio who convinced her to go for pizza also plotted the crime. The victim suspects they unlocked a window and contacted someone to steal the computer while she was away.
