Assistant Coach dies in bus accident

A bus crash sends students and coaches from the Kansas School for the Deaf to the hospital. The accident happened Sunday afternoon in western Kansas, right along 40 Highway near the town of Sharon Springs.
The Kansas highway patrol says the bus missed a curve before it rolled into a ditch.
The school celebrated a victory, Saturday over a big rival, but know they mourn a big loss of their coach. Late Sunday afternoon, word hits campus one of the assistant coaches Lory Kuschmider died in the accident.
Kuschmider spent many years teaching on the Olathe campus both on and off the football field. The superintendent of the school says the tragedy has hit the entire community hard.
Students returned to school today, counselors were on hand to help students and staff deal with the loss.
