Swedish tweets pics of ear surgery from inside the OR

Tuesday, Swedish Medical Center in Seattle posted pictures of a woman undergoing hearing restoration surgery as it happened.
Eleanor Day received a cochlear implant in her right ear, which will allow her to hear for the first time.
Using Twitter and Instagram, the surgery was shared all over the world with the aid of two iPhones, a Droid, Blackberry and laptop computer.
