Deaf Broadcast Network Brings Online

The Deaf Broadcast Network is preparing for the internet. “NetSignNews is a daily program of international and national news, sports and weather, and special interest community news which will be streaming to subscribers at, beginning July 4. Headline News will debut at the same time as a free service running on our homepage,” said Kit Patrick Corson, CEO of the new information company dedicated to serving the deaf and hard of hearing community.
NetSignNews will be presented in American Sign Language with a voice over track for hearing relatives and friends. Deaf news anchors predominate in the weekly line up. Tuesday through Friday features anchors Nick Martin and Jessi Rogers, with Tommy Bledsoe and Kristine White serving as the weekend team.
DBN CEO Kit Patrick Corson is a former television Producer/Narrator and a multiple Emmy winner for Newsign-4, the first ever American Sign Language news program that was offered on San Francisco’s KRON-TV, and the television documentary “My Eyes Are My Ears”.
