Whose ASL is it anyway?

Whose ASL is it anyway?
Trix Bruce can tell you the story of her life without speaking a word.
Yet, she is more than a great storyteller. She is also a poet, an actress and a one-deaf-woman show.
She’s bringing the TV show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?†to West Columbia, only this time it’s in American Sign Language (ASL).
With no practice, and using ideas and people from the audience, Bruce promises a night of laughter.
Don’t miss this unusual performance at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Academic Center Auditorium, Midlands Technical College, Airport Campus, 1260 Lexington Drive, West Columbia.
Bruce has been involved in the performing arts since 1980 when she won the role of Helen Keller in her freshman year of high school.
Now, she is known nationwide as both a workshop presenter and an ASL performer.
Advance tickets to her show are $5, student tickets are $3, and tickets at the door are $10.
