Deaf students' learning will be subject of June event

(May 16, 2007) — An international conference to examine how deaf and hard-of-hearing students learn is planned for June 21 - 22 at Rochester Institute of Technology’s National Technical Institute for the Deaf.

Educators of the deaf are expected to attend from around the world.

The conference is co-sponsored by Oxford University Press and is supported by a $149,000 grant from the National Science Foundation.
