A decision is in from Governor Tim Kaine on the State's Schools for the Deaf and Blind. But it is just another decision that pushes the ultimate resolution back.

The Governor is offering a substitute to the two General Assembly bills calling for renovation and funding for the Staunton school. The substitute is to the plans for the Hampton School; It does not impact the Staunton school. But because the two are tied together in the same bill, no decision can be made.

The amendment now goes back to the General Assembly which is reconvening next Wednesday. It will consider the amendment and can either pass it or send a revision back to Governor Kaine.
