ASL Convention Dates and Places

Since these are Deaf language events (not interpreted from voice) they may interest many of your readers.

Convention programs presented in American Sign Language at three U.S. locations.

Jehovah’s Witnesses will hold 227 Bible-based convention programs in 69 U.S. cities this year. For 2005, the theme of their three-day convention is “Godly Obedience,” based on several Bible texts. (Deuteronomy 12:28; Jeremiah 7:23; Romans 6:17; 2 Corinthians 2:9)

In the United States, the program will be presented in 15 languages. All are invited to attend free of charge, since there is no admission fee or collections taken at any convention or meeting of Jehovah’s Witnesses. There are now over 1,000,000 Witnesses in the United States.
