Hands On Video Relay Expands Customer Care Access and Call Center Hours
From: PR Newswire (press release) - USA - May 2, 2005
ROCKLIN, Calif., May 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Hands On Video Relay Service, Inc. (www.HOVRS.com) is pleased to announce the opening of its new Customer Care Service department. In addition, the company is offering expanded hours of operation. The new hours of operation for the call centers are 4:00 am to 12:00 midnight PST, 365 days a year.
To meet the increasing demand for its video relay services, Hands On will provide its customers with even more options to communicate with Customer Care representatives. The new Customer Care Service department will offer a "live" person via video to the deaf and hard of hearing community. Customers will be able to "talk" directly to a representative, instead of using email or Instant Messaging as the only way to communicate. The Customer Care department is now available from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm PST.
"We're delighted to be able to provide Deaf and Hard of Hearing people with a Customer Care Service that utilizes video to ease communication between our valued customers and our representatives," said Ronald E. Obray, founder and President of Hands On. "Our goal is to provide our customers with the highest level of support possible -- and remove the communication barriers that exist for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people."
"Allowing customers full access to our Customer Care Department has been a very high priority," said Jennie ViOa, Director of Support Services Group at Hands On. "We provide our customers with a wide range of options to access our Customer Care Department which allows them to choose what works best for them. Whether it's connecting via their PC or Mac, or videophone (VP) device, or through services like AOL's Instant Messaging service (AIM) at hovrsIM. We now have a "live" solution for accessibility to Customer Care for anyone who needs it."
