Deaf mute shot dead by gunman

A deaf mute, about 20 years old, was shot dead by a gunman at Cundell Terrace, Kingston 11 on Monday.
The dead man has been identified as Roderick Simpson, otherwise called "Gary" of Modyford Road in the community.
According to the Constabulary Communication Network's metro officer, at about 2:40 pm Simpson was at Cundell Terrace when he was approached by a man armed with a gun who shot him several times. He was taken to the Kingston Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
