It takes two to tango, and certainly why not, when the two understand each other so well, without even speaking a word.

What started as a necessity five years ago has now become an inspiring story of two men who against all odds are successfully running a small kiosk at the railway station at Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan.

Pawan Meena and Lalit Narayan Singh, deaf and dumb by birth, are popular among the customers who are more than happy visiting their stall because they get a hospitable environment apart from tasty tea the two prepare.

Meena, who looks after a family of eight, says he feels good relieving his customers of the day's hard work.

"People come here after a long day at work, they are tired. We prepare tea for them and refresh them. It really feels good doing this," he said.

Customers, who are regularly visit the kiosk say that tea at their stall is worth a treat.

"We encourage such people who start their own business and stand on their feet, that's why we come here and have tea. They are very hospitable," said Satyanarayan, a customer.

Both Meena and Singh, both educated youth, still in their twenties, now hope to get some help from the state government for expanding their business. Meena has also applied for a loan.

Though both communicate in sign language, they have still managed to join the mainstream of the society with their positive attitude towards life and work. (ANI)
