Employment Opportunity

Position: Regional Outreach Consultant (ROC)

Location: Various

THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION ONLY

Brief summary of duties:

Hands On VRS is seeking Regional Outreach Consultants who will be responsible for educating and training customers in their regions in how to set up and use Hands On VRS features, options and various services.

ROC tasks also include researching upcoming marketing events, community events, school or social gatherings to identify as training opportunities. ROC will be assisting marketing setting up booths and exhibitions. ROC will be presenting at community, marketing or outreach events by providing customers with information about Hands On VRS and our services. ROC will responsible for collecting data and information from local events.

ROC will be responsible for assisting deaf and hard-of-hearing customers with setting up video products such as web cams, D-Link, i-Sight, and set top box. ROC will be responsible for troubleshooting connection issues and training customers on how to place a video relay call through Hands On VRS.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

· Fluent in ASL.

· A minimum of 2 years of technical related experience including the area of residential firewalls/routers and PC and Macintosh support.

· Excellent communication, telephone, and writing skills (technical and non-technical) are required.

· Strong technical PC and Mac computer proficiency required.

· Strong decision making and problem solving skills.

· Strong detail orientation and customer focus.

· Strong team player.

· Demonstrated willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet customer’s schedules and needs

· Experience with PowerPoint and Keynote presentation software
