There was some high-flying action at P.C. Lujan Elementary School in Barrigada this afternoon. The Kites for Wishes Program of the Make-A-Wish Foundation showcased world champion Ray Bethel and his talent for the forty-eight students of the Department of Education's Hearing Impaired Program.

Bethel, who is completely deaf, has even given the students one-on-one training in kite making during his stay on island. Monica Guzman, the chairperson for the program, said, "The students of the Hearing Impaired Program they were very excited they had a one-on-one with Mr. Bethel and we had the Japan team try to fly the kites they were given."

Another Kites for Wishes event is set for Sunday, March 20 at the Asan Beach Park.
