Iranian wrestlers champion of deaflympics

LONDON, Jan 15 (IranMania) - Iranian free-style wrestlers grabbed the championship of the 20th Deaflympics wrestling contests as they bagged 4 golds, one silver and one bronze.

Turkey and Russia stood in second and third place respectively.

In the 55 kg weight category Iranian Mohammad Siahpush beat Turkish Barsan 4-1. Sassan Rouzbahani of Iran also crushed his Turkish counterpart 4-2 in the 60 kg weight category. In the 66 kg weight category, Rasoul Daryani won over his Turkish rival 6-3.

However Iranian Mostafa Khanjani Goudarzi of the 74 kg weight category lost to his counterpart from Russia.
