JANUARY 18, 2005 (NEW YORK, NEW YORK) -- DeafVision Filmworks & JADE Films Productions are pleased to announce that Pan African Film Festival (PAFF) selected BioPic: PASSION OF WORDS TURNING INTO ACTION: A BLACK DEAF FILMMAKER'S JOURNEY for documentary competition in Los Angeles. BioPic will be screened on February 18, 2004 at 1:00 PM. The filmmaker needs financial contributions for her appearance during the Pan African Film Festival (February 10 – 21, 2005).

“The Pan African Film Festival is a truly important stepping stone for me in my career as a filmmaker. During my festival appearance, I need to pay for my own personal interpreter in order to network with other filmmakers, meet investors, attend workshops, and talk about my films, my device products and projects I have lined up for the next five years,” said Ann Marie “Jade” Bryan.

BioPic and other film works are available for sale through the website. Sale proceedings will go toward paying for Jade’s PAFF appearance. Financial contributions can also be made to DeafVision Filmworks through paying online by clicking on www.jadefilm.com/donation.htm. Jade would greatly appreciate your support in helping raise at least $1500 for her appearance and networking at PAFF. Your money is 100% tax-deductible and will go toward DeafVision Filmworks. JADE Films is a project supported by DeafVision Filmworks, a 501©3 tax-exempt non-profit organization.
