Music In Motion - a registered charity were appearing live at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham alongside Bjorn Again (Abba Tribute Group). A lively audience saw two of the group join Bjorn Again on stage for their encore. The song 'Thank You For The Music' has been the theme tune of Music In Motion since the group formed almost 10 years ago. The group consists of all volunteers who got together because of a common interest in Sign Language. Some members are deaf, others hearing, but all have been sign language students, some now advancing to interpreter and teacher level. The group co-ordinator, Caroline Gill had approached the PR Company associated with Bjorn Again when she discovered they were coming to her home town of Birmingham. B.A. Music Management Ltd. were more than happy to allow Music In Motion the opportunity to bring sign language to a capacity audience at the Symphony Hall. The overriding aim of Music In Motion is to promote the use of sign language. They travel around the country visiting shopping centres where the general public are keen to know how they can enrol on a course to learn. Any money collected by the group whilst they are performing their signed songs, is then donated to organisations that support the Deaf Community. Up to now they have raised over £36,000. If anyone would like further information about the group, please contact Caroline Gill at gillie67@hotmail.com
