The Colorado Deaf and Blind School's Sam Harris ran for 514 yards on 35 carries to lead his team to a 66-61 victory over the Boulder Justice team in 8-man football Tuesday at Recht Field.

Harris also caught one pass for 75 yards and a touchdown and accounted for all but five yards of his team's offensive output.

Harris' performance would put him third on Colorado's all-time list for most rushing yards in a game. Leonard Jones of Montbello ran for 584 on Oct. 16, 1999 and Cory Davis of South Park ran for 567 in one game in 1986.

Harris has 1,379 yards rushing and 16 touchdowns in four games this season for the Class A 8-man Bulldogs and is averaging 11 yards per carry.
