Taree stages Theatre of the Deaf

TAREE Quota Club will be staging a play performed by the Australian Theatre of the Deaf next Thursday.

The play is entitled 'Aliens' and will be performed at Ormsby House, on the corner of Commerce and Albert streets, Taree at 7.15pm. It is a play about war, journeys and hope, and addresses some of the thorny issues of Australia's refugees and detention centres.

Supper is provided after the play.

Quota pays to bring this group to Taree and the performers will be conducting a workshop at Chatham High School that afternoon.

Everyone is invited to attend. It is very good for hearing people to attend to understand the difficulties deaf people have to overcome.
