SOMETIMES NO NEWS IS NOT GOOD NEWS
No word from the distributor of Fahrenheit 9/11 about making the film accessible via closed captions and descriptions for theaters.
SOMETIMES NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS
We have confirmation that the DVD version of The Passion of the Christ will contain the description track created for theatrical release. Look for that DVD to be released in stores in August...
MOPIX ON THE ROAD
Recent journeys to the American Council of the Blind conference in Birmingham, AL and the National Association of the Deaf conference in Kansas City gave us an opportunity to meet many MoPix fans in person. (We hope to travel to additional national conferences next summer...).
Hello to all of you out there, keep up the good work on advocacy (see new chains added to the MoPix family below and know that your efforts are paying off), and take time to enjoy accessible films, television, DVDs and home videos! And do keep the e-mail coming, we love to hear general feedback and about the progress in your communities.
