Deaf Today: Feast of fun for deaf children

AN exciting summer programme is being hosted by the National Deaf Children's Society in Glasgow.

Dance workshops and sport coaching for deaf children will be held in the summer holidays thanks to a grant from Glasgow City Council.

Dance for five to 11-year-olds will be held every Wednesday from 11.30am to 12.30pm from July 7 to August 11 at Gorbals Leisure Centre.

Dance classes for 12-16 year olds will also be held there every Friday from July 9 to August 13 from 11am.

A coaching festival will be held at the centre on August 10 for eight to 16-year-olds offering tuition in sports from football to tennis.
