It is NOT too early to plan this exciting BIG Hollywood Halloween Weekend especially if you live outside of the Los Angeles area so you can make plans to come to Hollywood, California and enjoy the Hearing Loss Outreach Halloween weekend starting on Friday October 29 until Sunday night October 31, 2004.

Friday October 29- Deaf and Hard of Hearing Gathering at a nightclub or a coffee place for socialization including Happy Hour and to meet other people from all over the country and the world. The place and time will be announced in the coming weeks but it will be in the Hollywood or West Hollywood area of Los Angeles.

Saturday October 30- WRAD, Inc. is happy to present for the third time a BIG HALLOWEEN COSTUME BALL for the deaf and hard of hearing people and their loved ones and friends at the HUGE and BEAUTIFUL Friendship Auditorium, 3201 Riverside Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90027. We can have around 350-375 people at the Halloween Ball and ofcourse we will have Gino Giudice again as the decoration designer as well as other well known and professional people to help entertain the Costume Ball. It will be held from 8pm until 1am. We will have cash prizes for the best costumes being selected by professional Judges who know about costumes from the entertainment industry. Flyers and more information about the Halloween Costume Ball will be announced this summer. Last year we had the Halloween Costume Ball at the Burbank Hilton and had about 350 people and our first one was at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood with over 300 people.

Sunday October 31- The best Halloween Costume Parade in West Hollywood along Santa Monica Blvd starting around 7pm until very late at night. Last year over 250,000 people came to the Halloween Parade and it is considered the biggest and the most colorful Halloween parade in the world . People will parade for about 2 miles along the famous Santa Monica Blvd with many stops to dance with well known DJ music on the streets, picking up something to eat from many vendors or restaurants or meeeting old and new friends. Deaf and hard of hearing people will meet in front of Mickey's Club, a tradition for many years. There is no admission charge to the West Hollywood Costume Parade.

It is time for you to make your RESERVATIONS now to come to Los Angeles for the weekend of October 29-31 if you like Halloween. Do not miss it so that is why you are getting this special announcement from HLO to make plans to be in Los Angeles for that particular weekend.

There are many places to stay in Los Angeles but we recommend you to stay at the following motels that are close to our events. It is also suggested that you plan to rent a car because LA is a big city BUT there are public transportation like busses and subways available if you choose this option.
