Deaf artists' work featured

During April, which has been designated Deaf Awareness Month, the Irish Channel Action Foundation is sponsoring an art show and accepting applications for sign language classes that will be offered in May.
The art show, featuring local deaf artists, will be held April 29 at 6 p.m. at 1813 Magazine St.
The sign language classes will be taught on Tuesdays from May 4 through May 25, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at 1813 Magazine St. Cost is $5 per class. Family rates and scholarships are available.
