The UK Film Council is working with the Northern Ireland Film and Television Commission, Scottish Screen and Sgrîn Cymru Wales in order that similar services are provided across the UK.

Digital Subtitling and Audio Description systems are already located in these towns:

London:
Acton, Finchley Road, Uxbridge, West India Quay, Wimbledon, and three in
Leicester Square.

England:
Basingstoke, Clevedon, Colchester, Gateshead, Guildford, High Wycombe,
Kingston, Leicester, Manchester, Newcastle, Stevenage, Woking,
Wolverhampton, and York.

Wales:
Cardiff.

Scotland:
Glasgow, Stirling, and two in Edinburgh.

Ireland:
Belfast and Dublin.

Three cinemas have audio description facilities only - NO subtitles. they are located in Hereford, Leeds and North Pontypridd.
