WIN cuts Riverland news bulletin

After weeks of rumours, WIN Television has confirmed its Riverland news bulletin will be presented from Mount Gambier next year.

WIN management says it was forced to centralise because it must now provide captions for hearing impaired viewers, which it says is too expensive to do at both stations.

WIN state manager Graeme Gilbertson says the Loxton newsroom will continue to produce local stories and all jobs are secure.
