Deaf League holds classes

Registration is now underway for three classes in American Sign Language (ASL) offered by the League for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing.

ASL classes include:

•Jan. 21-March 10, 2004 (eight weeks); Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30-7:30 p.m., League offices in Nashville, Registration deadline: Jan. 9, 2004

•Feb. 10-May 18 (15 weeks), Tuesdays, 5:30-7:30 p.m., League offices in Nashville, Registration deadline: Jan. 30, 2004

•Jan. 20-March 9 (eight weeks), Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30-7:30 p.m., American Red Cross, 129 West Fowlkes St., Suite 100, Franklin

Registration deadline: Jan. 9, 2004.

The fee is $100, which includes class instruction, materials and a textbook. Nashville classes will be held at the League, 415 Fourth Ave. South.
