The Actors' Repertory Theater of Simi will have sign language interpreters at the finale performance of its current production, "Gypsy."

The musical is at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center, 3050 Los Angeles Ave., Simi Valley.

The show, a classic of the American stage with such memorable tunes as "If Momma Were Married," "Some People" and "Everything's Coming Up Roses," will be interpreted for the deaf by two individuals who will sign the entire production during the 2 p.m. matinee Sunday, Nov. 30, said Jan Glasband, ARTS' artistic director.

"It's for the benefit of nonhearing audience members who wish to more fully enjoy the experience," Glasband said. The Cultural Arts Center and ARTS, she added, hope to develop resources to continue the program for future productions.

Tickets for the show are $18; $15 for seniors and students; and $12 for children 12 and under. Call 583-7900 to reserve a spot.2001
