Tiverton's Peter Willcox went down to 2001 Deaf Olympics silver medallist Ronald Oliver Krieg (Germany) 6-0, 6-4 as Great Britain lost their unbeaten record at the Dresse Cup in Austria. Despite a close second set, Devon's three-times National deaf champion lost his first match of the competition and after victories over the Czech Republic and the Netherlands, Great Britain were beaten 3-0 by the No. 1 seeds.

The defeat now leaves Great Britain second in their group and a difficult match with France in the semi-finals.
