All on board for a dart attack

DEAF darts players were on target to hit the mark as they competed in the deaf Olympics darts tournament at Mounties on the weekend.

It was the first deaf darts competition to be held in NSW, with the hope that wheelchair darts also will become a state-wide competition in the near future.

The men's and women's deaf darts team events were held at the weekend, with the competition continuing this week in the men's and women's single events.

It was an idea of Mounties darts club president Roger Clatworthy, who is looking for interested players in wheelchair darts to run a six-month training program before dividing participants into teams of four to six players for two 14-week competitions.
