LONG BEACH Charges of rape and unlawful sex with a minor were filed against two Long Beach men Tuesday in connection with the sexual assaults of three deaf girls and a 19-year-old deaf woman.

Henry Albert Leon, 24, was charged with one count of rape in concert and two counts of unlawful intercourse with a minor, and John Colon, 19, was charged with one count of rape in concert and a single count of unlawful intercourse with a minor, said Officer Jana Blair, a Long Beach Police Department spokeswoman.

Each man is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail at the Los Angeles County Men's Central Jail, ac cording to the jail's inmate reception center.

Leon and Colon allegedly gave the victims alcohol and drugs at a home near Ninth Street and Daisy Avenue before assaulting them late Friday night through early Saturday morning, said Long Beach Police Sgt. Paul LeBaron.

The victims met the suspects at a party about 7 p.m. Friday. The group then went to several locations in the city throughout the night, including two motels and several houses, before they ended up at the residence at Ninth and Daisy, the sergeant said.

It wasn't until 6 a.m. Saturday that the victims were able to get away from the home and call police, LeBaron said.
