More than 12 clubs and 15 schools will take part in the first Kamuli Cup Of Cups open volleyball tournament Feb. 15-16 at Kamuli Technical Grounds.
Organising Secretary Francis Bukenya said a big turn up is expected since most of the clubs and schools have confirmed participation.
This will be the first national volleyball tournament to be staged in Kamuli.
The tournament that is organised by Kamuli Volleyball Council was included on this year?s national volleyball calendar.
?We expect teams from upcountry to take part and we have a lot of presents lined up for winning teams and outstanding players,? said Bukenya.
Meanwhile, Old Kampala Deaf are making a big comeback on the volleyball scene this year.
The team that was out of most engagements last year is expected to spice up the men?s volleyball in Kamuli.
Team captain and setter Sam Okello will lead his team to the east.
They are now training at Old Kampala grounds.
Other teams expected are KCC, KAVC, Sport S Nsambya, Jinja Volleyball Club and schools like Nabisunsa, Namagunga, Nsambya and Progressive.
