AVON -- American sign language has made its way back into the curriculum for preschool students at Kingsway Christian School.

"We've been getting it back into the program," said Preschool Director Brenda Brickler.

The four-year-olds are learning sign language while reciting their memory verses and students repeat the same memory verse for a month.

"Repetition seems to really be the key," Brickler said. "By the end of the year, they don't even need me to show them what to do."

The sign language is a portion of the program to start the day. They also discuss the date, day of the week and other topics.
