Daughter Saves Deaf Mother From Fire

This morning... a hearing-impaired Frederick mom is recovering after her daughter saves her from a fire. The fire started early Thursday morning at an apartment complex in Frederick. Emergency workers say 7-year-old Ashley Dalad woke up to find her mother on fire. She quickly woke her mother up and screamed for neighbors to call 9-1-1. Despite second and third degree burns on 40-percent of her body, police say Ashley just wants to go back to school. Today people are hailing the child a hero.
