A Family Mourns

"I'm still asking you to do the right thing and turn yourself in."

More tears for Kisha Sullivan's grandmother Francis Rudolph, as she makes another plea to Kisha's killer.

"Me and my family are just besides ourselves, it just hurts, it hurts, it hurts."

With Christmas only four days away, an angel hangs on the family Christmas tree for Kisha, but Kisha's killer is not in jail and that makes the holidays even harder to deal with.

"Thanksgiving was rough, Christmas is going to be rough we are just not happy, so unhappy I don't even want to celebrate Christmas but I have to."

Back in October when Kisha's body was found in the woods in LeRoy, police had a tough case on their hands. Kisha was deaf and did not know anyone in LeRoy, and News 8 has learned Kisha spent a lot of time on the internet.

"This is a hard case even for us, because with us thinking we knew Kisha the way that we knew Kisha I can't see a stranger getting a hold of her."

Meantime, Kisha's angel on the tree hangs next to another angel to remember her cousin, killed eleven years ago.

Kisha's family tries to keep her spirit alive during the holidays by printing t-shirts with her picture, but they can't help having heavy hearts for her killer.

"Whoever did this to Kisha, I hope your Christmas be merry and bright and I hope this be your last Christmas running around here hurting people's children."

Police continue their investigation of Kisha's death. They urge anyone with information to call the Genesee County homicide lead desk at (585) 345-3500, extension 218.
