Two assaulted during home invasion

A woman and her deaf daughter were sexually assaulted during a home invasion in southwest Houston, police said Saturday.

Three gunmen confronted the 43-year-old woman about 10 p.m. Friday when she parked her car outside the family's home in the 7300 block of Crownwest, police said.

The gunmen forced the woman into her house and tied up her 41-year-old husband, her 20-year-old daughter and a 24-year-old deaf man, said Houston Police Department spokesman Joe Laud.

The family was subjected to a two-hour ordeal as the men attacked the mother and daughter and fled with cash, electronics and the family's van, police said. No arrests had been made late Saturday.
