04/11/2002 KurdishMedia.com - By Nermin Osman Sulemani-Kurdistan (KurdishMedia.com) 03 November 2002: A painstaking work at the Salahadeen University is being carried out to produce the first Kurdish dictionary for the deaf and mute.

The work is supported by the Middle East Development Service with UNICEF. This will be the first collection of the main southern dialectics, Sorani and Bahdine. It will also include the Arabic and English equivalents.

Each entry will be illustrated with a colourful image and the equivalent sign.
